NFL: Can the Titans Do it Again?
By Matthew Allan Hahn Columnist
Can they do it? Can the Tennessee Titans beat the Jacksonville Jaguars for the fourth time in this week's Monday Night Football showdown? Certainly so. The Jags have been having trouble these past few games and they likely aren't going to rebound against the Titans. It is also at Adelphia Stadium - they have never lost there and with the twelfth man in the stands, it just doesn't look good for the Jags.
When Titans QB Steve McNair is healthy, his team is likely to win. Backup QB Neil O'Donnell can't come in like McNair and lead the team as efficiently. He has to start and it takes him about a quarter to get warmed up. But who knows what will happen on Monday.
Let's just hope wideouts Pickens and Thigpen are better for the game. Now let's look at the lines this week:
NFL Lines for Week 7
Favorite Line Underdog Over/Under St. Louis -18 Atlanta 58.5 N.Y. Giants -4 Dallas 40 Washington -3.5 Baltimore 35 Kansas City -2.5 Oakland 43.5 Buffalo -10 San Diego 37 Pittsburgh -8 Cincinnati 37 New Orleans E Carolina 40.5 Indianapolis -5.5 Seattle 44 New England -3 N.Y. Jets 37.5 Denver -12 Cleveland 44 Green Bay -4.5 San Francisco 49.5 Philadelphia -3 Arizona 39.5 Minnesota -6 Chicago 44.5 Tennessee -6 Jacksonville 38
There are going to be a lot of good games this year on MNF, and Monday's game is no exception.
