Katie Holmes Drops Publicist

It has been reported that after nine years together Katie Holmes has kicked her publicist, Leslie Sloane-Zelnick, to the curb and has hired her future sister-in-law Lee Anne DeVette as her new spokesperson. Sloane-Zelnick reportedly said in an interview, "We were with her for nine years. We wish her the best. She has chosen to work with her future sister-in-law. We wish her well, and congratulate her on her happy news." Since dating the toothy actor, Holmes has fired her management company, her agents, and now her publicist. What’s next? Her parents? Friends? Or has that already happened?

And things are getting weirder by the minute. First, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise seemingly overnight develop this out of control relationship that left many people shaking their heads. Next she adopts Cruise’s Scientology beliefs and becomes BFF with her Scientology adviser, Jessica Rodriguez. Oh, and despite claiming to be a virgin and wanting to wait until her wedding night, she then gets knocked up. Now it seems she is ridding herself of anyone not involved in Scientology. So if Sloane-Zelnick really thinks about things for a moment, she might be breathing a sigh of relief that she doesn’t have to explain her client’s bizarre behavior. Whatever happened to the cute little girl from Dawson’s Creek? Guess she took a wrong turn and landed in Stepford.

In a recent interview for a popular woman’s magazine, the reporter was reportedly disturbed by Holmes’ "eerie behavior." According to the article, Holmes spoke almost worshipfully of Cruise when responding to any question, saying things like "I’ve never met anyone like Tom," "Tom and I will always be in our honeymoon phase," and "He’s the man of my dreams" while reportedly staring at "nothing in particular." The question remains, who is going to save Katie? Where are her family and friends and do they not think something weird is going on?
