Remnants of Death

Basically just wrote it for my dead friend who is now 2 years deceased. Pretty simple
Why do you think
the heart stops beating?
To stop the pain
from following into the after life
So where does it go?

It stays here
to wander from host
to host and like a ghost,
it haunts beating hearts
and stabs like poison darts,
with the faint breath of
the grim reaper, Death.
