Preview - Toronto Raptors

Toronto has become a serious title contender with Vince Carter and newly acquired center Hakeem Olajuwon.
Toronto Raptors

2000 Record: (47-35), 2nd in Central Division

Player Losses: Charles Oakley.

Player Additions: Hakeem Olajuwon, Michael Bradley, Brian Skinner.

Projected Starting Five:

Center - Hakeem Olajuwon (7'0" 255 lbs.)
Forward - Antonio Davis (6'9" 230 lbs.)
Forward - Vince Carter (6'7" 220 lbs.)
Guard - Morris Peterson (6'6" 220 lbs.)
Guard - Alvin Williams (6'5" 185 lbs.)

The Raptors had a great offseason by adding Hakeem Olajuwon and resigning Antonio Davis, Alvin Williams, and Jerome Williams. The addition of Olajuwon does two things, it gives the Raptors a legitimate low post scoring threat and it will allow Antonio Davis to move back to power forward, where he will be more effective. I thinks the Raptors will overtake the Bucks for the Central Division title, and don't be surprised if you see them in the Finals.
