The award-winning documentary maker Norma Percy will talk about her new BBC2 series, in which a Palestinian minister claims George Bush said God told him to invade Iraq, at a TV conference in Sheffield this weekend.
She will be discussing Israel and the Arabs: Elusive Peace at the Sheffield International Documentary Festival in a masterclass to be held on Sunday morning.
The Elusive Peace's series producer will be appearing in Sheffield with two other producers from the BBC2 project.
In the programme, the Palestinian minister, Nabil Shaath, said Mr Bush had told them during a meeting in June 2003 that God had given him a mission to invade Iraq and Afghanistan and also to create a Palestinian state.
Abu Mazen, another minister attending the same meeting, claimed the US president had told him that, "I have a moral and religious obligation. So I will get you a Palestinian state."
Most national newspapers covered the story last week after the BBC released it.
Percy's previous documentary credits include The Fall of Milosevic, The 50 Years War: Israel and the Arabs and The Death of Yugoslavia.
