Preview - Chicago Bulls

The Bulls youth movement continues, and it could be a long time before they see the playoffs.
Chicago Bulls

2000 Record: (15-67), last in Central Division

Player Losses: Elton Brand, Bryce Drew, Corey Benjamin

Player Additions: Charles Oakley, Greg Anthony, Eddie Robinson, Tyson Chandler, Eddy Curry, Trenton Hassell, Kevin Ollie

Projected Starting Five:

Center - Charles Oakley (6'9" 255 lbs.)
Forward - Marcus Fizer (6'8" 260 lbs.)
Forward - Eddie Robinson (6'9" 205 lbs.)
Guard - Ron Mercer (6'7" 210 lbs.)
Guard - Greg Anthony (6'1" 180 lbs.)

The Bulls made one of the worst off season moves by essentially trading Elton Brand for Tyson Chandler. This gives the Bulls two high school players on their roster, Eddy Curry is the other. They did acquire some experience in Charles Oakley and Greg Anthony and signed Eddie Robinson, who is an athletic, young player. Chicago will take a tiny step forward in their plan to rebuild, but that means they will only win 20 to 25 games this year.
