Florida takes over No. 1 in eSports College football poll

Florida took over the number one spot in the eSports Media Group college football poll, but the top three are separated by just five points.
Florida has overtaken Miami as the top team in the eSports Media Group college football poll. In fact, Miami slipped to third behind both Florida and Oklahoma. In essence, however, the top three teams were basically even with five points separating them. Nebraska and Oregon each move up one to complete the top five.

UCLA moved up two spots and Virginia Tech one, both teams jumping over Fresno State with impressive conference wins. Washington and South Carolina round out the top ten, each jumping two spots.

Texas lands at number eleven after the loss to Oklahoma. Michigan moves up two, while Florida State and Georgia Tech each move up three spots. Tennessee dropped five slots to No. 15 after the home loss to Georgia.

BYU and Purdue both jump five spots to Nos. 16 and 17. Clemson and Texas A&M each move up one with Stanford closing out the top twenty.

Maryland enters the poll at no. 21 while the Washington State Cougars climb three spots to No.22. Kansas State and Toledo are tied at No. 23 with Colorado debuting at No. 25.

Northwestern and LSU dropped out of the poll. Colorado and Maryland have taken their place.
