Luggage: Finding your style!
If a black business travel bag does not meet your luggage needs, then it's time to explore the current selection of designer ...
If you’re the type of person who only purchases good quality luggage, then you know that it pays to spend more money for reliable brands where you get not only style but durability. In fact, Consumer Reports found when testing cheap luggage sets in price range of $48 to $100, that they didn’t hold up during air travel.
But aside from quality, which is clearly a key factor in your purchase; style and organization are two other factors that determine choice.
Consider this, in the past year or so, more and more articles have been written about the expanding birth of luggage style. Colors such as bright hues of orange, blue, purple and pink in sets or individual, are more commonly seen rolling around airports and urban streets.
With many luggage manufacturers moving towards more stylish luggage, or at least offering a luggage line which appeals to the fashion oriented consumer, reputable brands like Samsonite and Eagle Creek offer hip. And, you would expect fashionable pieces from manufacturers such as: Diane von Furstenberg, Oscar de la Renta and Ricardo of Beverly Hills.
Yet the more things change the more they stay the same. Or maybe not! There will still continue to be the popular niche of toned down black luggage. Business travelers in particular count on this color. It also hides the dirt!
However, urban style oriented travelers, business and pleasure may also find a way to buy some of the newest styles in carry-ons, passport cases, hand carrying garment bags and such. In fact, newer names making some hip luggage are Jack Spade, Mandarin Duck and Freitag, all worth checking out.
Already a well known brand, Tumi, makes a range of stylish leather and ballistic luggage. Perhaps lesser known Heys Luggage, great for colorful luggage sets in hardside and soft cases, will gain greater following as the moving-luggage marriage of form and function rolls on!
