Heidi Fleiss’ New Venture

Fleiss spent 20 months in prison for money laundering, tax evasion and attempted pandering. She was accused at trial of running a high priced prostitution ring. But her newest venture in the lingerie business is completely legit. Fleiss said of her new shop, "We’re not open yet, but I expect to be after the New Year. We’re still doing some work on the interior, although I am willing to let serious buyers in to shop before the official opening." Fleiss’ new shop, named "Hollywood Madam" will offer sexy lingerie including personalized panties emblazoned with "Heidi’s No. 1 Girl."

The unique boutique has a dressing room that is equipped with a Web camera. Customers who agree to allow themselves to be filmed while in the dressing room will get a discount on all merchandise. Those who consent to being filmed will appear on Heidi’s pay-per-view Internet site. Fleiss credit’s her brother for the idea behind the Web cam. Fleiss said, "You can get 20 to 30 percent off just by using the dressing room. We’re even remodeling its interior to make it look like a bordello." Fleiss promises that the store will be a huge success and there is very little doubt that she is right.

It seems Fleiss has a head for business and she has always known that sex sells. After her turn as a Hollywood madam, why stray too far from what you know? Fleiss is destined for success with her swanky boutique opening up in a town known for its obsession with sex. Even though Fleiss has a rep for getting customers to take off their clothes, it seems that she may have found a way to make customers want to put on her clothes.
