Just to clear up recent rumors of Chyna suffering a real neck injury at the hands of the Right To Censor Movement a few weeks back on Raw, these rumors are totally untrue and bear no truth. Chyna sustained no injuries whatsoever and her extended absence from WWF television recently is due to the creative department having no real creative direction or angle for her to follow at present, so she has been allocated with a small amount of time away from the ring while they write her some new storylines. The reason why Chyna is being actively mentioned by announcers and recently interviewed in an injured state is because the WWF want to try and keep her in the spot light so that her merchandise sales don’t suffer and totally perish due to her absence from TV, and with the release of her book now imminent the WWF have set her up with a legitimate reason not to be at WWF TV tapings, but are still using any excuse to mention her and keep her fresh in the minds of fans. Just to make it clear, Chynas injury is just an angle. Her expected return to active action is all very dependent on how quickly the creative team can fit her into another angle.
Eric Angle will begin his spell in Ohio Valley Wrestling sometime this week in preparation for his possible WWF career. Eric Angle hasn’t officially signed anything yet with the federation, but his conditions basically lie on verbal agreements with WWF officials and management. Angle will spend time down in OVW to mainly adapt himself for the huge jump between amateur wrestling and the style which is displayed in the world of sports entertainment. An exact timeframe for Eric’s spell in Ohio has yet to be outlined and it will all depend on how well he can adapt himself to the new style of wrestling which is mandatory for him to learn inside out for his career in the federation to succeed. Eric Angle is expected to sign an official developmental contract with the federation in the close future. In addition to this, the WWF have told Eric he may still be called up to WWF TV tapings at anytime during his OVW spell if he’s needed to help develop of further storylines involving brother Kurt.
