The corpse at the end of the rainbow

I was bored and trying to make sense of my life... I found that it has no worth and no matter what I do I can’t satisfy everyone… and to me... that is depressing.
The corpse at the end of the rainbow
is the one who never gets noticed
because of the beauty that lay beside him
even though in life he contained only beauty
standing alone in the rain waiting
for someone to take interest in what he is
he is a rose trapped in a crystal glass
not coming out to be what was expected
standards that can never be achieved
no matter what person attempts
he understood the unknown and impossible
but was cast into the shadows to
never be seen again
and there he remains; left to nothing
