Britney Spears Tirade a Big Hit on Napster

Recent statistics released by the Internet’s former big label nemesis, Napster, say that the 1-minute accidental recording of Britney Spears expressing her displeasure with the pre-show developments in Rio is currently the most downloaded file in the Napster database. Unbeknownst to the musical goddess, her microphone was on when she was complaining about the fact that the crowd she was about to entertain had not been "vamped," or warmed up. During her brief outburst, Britney resorted to some four-letter favorites in order to emphasize her displeasure with the situation. Relative to other entertainers of her stature, this would seem to be an innocent and ultimately harmless mistake. But Britney’s self-created image of a virginal and morally obligated sweetheart (who’s not afraid to expose her chiseled body) has been put in even further jeopardy by this latest misstep.

In recent months, Spears has garnered increasing criticism from those who feel that she has altered her image to include a level of sexuality that is neither necessary nor a good example for her very young and impressionable fan base. To add fuel to the growing fire, it was revealed that Britney spent three days and nights hole up in a Rio hotel suite with her boyfriend, super stud crooner Justin Timberlake of the boy band ‘NSYNC. With her latest lapse in judgment spreading rapidly across the Web and the pages of gossip rags, Britney appeared during the star studded Super Bowl XXXV halftime show, which included ‘NSYNC and Aerosmith. While her young fans anxiously await her next hit single, they can brush up on some of Britney’s latest lyrics, which some will be shocked to hear.
