Brad Renfro Rehabs
Actor Brad Renfro has entered a rehab facility shortly after being busted for attempting to buy heroin from an undercover cop.

Renfro, 23, reportedly attempted to purchase the drugs from an undercover cop on Los Angeles’ Skid Row on December 22. He was arrested and according to Lieutenant Paul Vernon of the Los Angeles Police Department very apologetic about the incident and did admit to having a drug problem. The former child star failed to appear in court on Friday for drug possession charges. His lawyer, Richard Kaplan, said the actor had entered a rehabilitation facility and that he was "doing fine."
Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner James Bianco agreed to postpone the arraignment until January 18 and has allowed him to remain free on bail. Kaplan stated that Renfro "looks forward to doing whatever is necessary to take care of his personal and legal issues" and said the actor would appear in court at his arraignment next month.
Renfro made his big screen debut at the age of 12 in the 1994 movie The Client. In 1998, a 15-year old Renfro was charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana. He avoided jail time by plea bargaining with prosecutors. In 2001, he was arrested for trying to steal a yacht in Fort Lauderdale, five months later he was arrested for underage drinking. In 2002, he violated his probation by being arrested for driving without a license and public intoxication. The judge ordered Renfro to 90 days of rehab. Doesn’t seem as if anything is helping this troubled actor get his life under control. Renfro is next appearing opposite Nelly Furtado in Nobody’s Hero, a drama slated for release sometime this year. Maybe he can stay out of rehab long enough to make the premiere.
