Is The Bachelorette Preggers?

Trista Rehn first appeared on the original Bachelor, where she was one of two finalists after competing against 24 other girls for the affections of the bachelor, Alex Michel. Alex picked another girl and viewers wondered how Trista would handle it. It seems to me that the joke is on Amanda (the girl Alex picked). She got stuck with him and Trista landed her own TV show, The Bachelorette, where she is the one choosing - and what a bunch she has had to choose from.

Trista started off with 25 bachelors vying for her attention. In the first episode, Trista had to narrow it down to 15 hopefuls after just one night. Next she went on three group dates with five men and after that she had to boot off seven of the guys. She then had three individual dates with hopefuls Charlie, Ryan, and Russ. The five remaining guys – Bob, Jamie, Greg, Rob, and Mike – were treated to a group date. Now she is down to the final four – Russ, Charlie, Ryan and Greg - and there have been rampant rumors in the media. First there were several reports that Trista had been on a number of dates with Russ before the show began filming. Then there were reports that they didn’t start dating until after the show. Now the rumors are that she ends up with Charlie…and that she is now pregnant with his baby.

Charlie seems to be the odds on favorite at this point. He does not seem as sleazy as the visibly sleazy Russ, who pushed Trista from the minute they met - on camera that is. Who knows which way it’ll go? Ryan seems like a doormat and, unfortunately, Greg doesn’t seem to stand a chance. Trista has said that she fell in love on the show. Hopefully she made the right choice…we will see in just a few short weeks just who the lucky guy is and whether or not she is actually pregnant.
