R. Kelly = Kiddie Porn

Singer R. Kelly was recently arrested again after police found nude photos of an underage girl in his Florida home.
Do people ever learn? After months of allegations about child pornography, sexual assault, statutory rape, and videotaping an unknowing partner involved in sex acts that R. Kelly would be more apt to conceal his sexual predilections. The latest charges come after investigators found 12 photographs of a nude girl at the Grammy winner's Florida home. He was out on bail and facing 21 counts of child pornography in Chicago at the time of his most recent arrest. The Chicago arrest stems from a videotape the police say show Kelly engaged in sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl, charges that Kelly vehemently denies.

Kelly seems to be in hot water all over the place. He is facing lawsuits by four women, and a fifth was settled out of court. Three girls allege statutory rape, claiming they had sex with the singer while underage. Another woman alleges that Kelly videotaped her dancing nude and performing sex acts for the singer without her consent. Two of the lawsuits, in which the underage girls claim Kelly coerced them into having sex with him, have been settled. The third claims Kelly seduced her, she became pregnant and he pressured her into having an abortion. That case is still pending.

Is this simply another case of the public trying to cash in on the missteps of a celebrity, or is R. Kelly really a disturbed and dangerous individual who is using his star-status to prey on young girls? It’s difficult to say at this point. But Kelly seems to have a penchant for girls that are underage. He was married to the late Aaliyah in 1994 when she was only 15 and he was 25. Her parents had the marriage annulled when they found out and subsequently both Kelly and Aaliyah refused to comment on the marriage. Kelly claims he is not a "criminal" or a "monster" but it does seem kind of strange that all these women keep stepping forward. And with the cops finding child pornography at his home, Kelly may have to hope to fly away from these allegations.
