Since the once reigning Golden Couple announced their separation there has been much speculation about the division of their assets, especially their production company Plan B Entertainment. Reps for both stars have announced that Pitt and Aniston hope to remain partners in production and that Plan B will continue on with churning out films as planned.

There are a number of projects for Plan B either in the works or in talks. A script for Mariane Pearl’s A Mighty Heart about the kidnapping and murder in Pakistan of her husband and reporter Daniel Pearl is currently in development. A crime drama The Departed starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon and directed by Martin Scorsese will begin filming in the spring. Plan B will be releasing Tim Burton’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory starring Johnny Depp this summer.

It has been hinted that negotiations between Pitt and Aniston have so far been friendly, but with a definite potential to become a bitter feud. Fans were shocked when they announced that they were separating after almost five-years of marriage earlier this month. No reason for the split was given, but it was widely speculated that there were quite possibly two factors involved: Angelina Jolie and the lack of kids. Sources say that Brad is itching to become a father and Jen is too focused on her career. There was also murmurings of an affair between Pitt and his Mr. And Mrs. Smith co-star, Jolie. This is a rumor that Brad and Angelina have hotly denied. Whatever the reason was behind Brad and Jen’s break-up, we can always hope for a reconciliation. For now we, just have Plan B.
