The game of momentum
The Chicago Bulls recent victory over the Toronto Raptors might just be what the team needs to get them going this season. As the saying goes -- "You need to ride the wave of momentum." And that's just what the Bulls need to do.
It's an age old saying in sports -- "You need to ride the wave of momentum."
This saying directly applies to the Chicago Bulls, who defeated the Toronto Raptors in front of a sell-out home crowd this past Sunday afternoon.
Let's face it, basketball is definitely a game full of momentum shifts, and right now, at least for the Bulls, that shift could be leaning towards the positive side, if they view it that way.
So far this season, there's been nothing positive to speak of regarding the Bull's, so getting one measly win could produce a better atmosphere for the players.
Winning can go a long way in changing moods and emotions, and now it's within their grasp if they look at Sunday's game as something to build upon.
With a 13-31 record, the outlook for the rest of the season is gloom at the moment, however, let's not think about next year just yet.
As much of a pain as it has been to be a Bulls fan these last few years, it's all about attitude.
As fans, we want to see effort out there on the court, and it's time for the Bulls to step up and build upon this lone win and begin the journey of establishing a long-running wave of momentum.
