For those who know bitter hurt...
By Rowan And Holly
In the forest.. light the fires,
Fan the flames of hate and despair
summon the song of sweet revenge
to be danced with bitter cursing feet...
all of ye... dance with me and avenge
the name of the lass o' the glens

avenge my besmirched honor
curse the day of his birth
he.. who so carelessly profaned
a lass
beyond his ken and worth

Circle the flames 3 times round,
yea, three times round again,
cursed shall he be
his soul never free
of the pain of his inhuman folly

By rowan and holly
may our dancing feet
crush his life into dust
Take the profane
into the flames
and cleanse this lass
of his lust.

Burn out the hatred
sear away scorn
from his bitter lying mouth
Leaving his bones to smolder alone
under a blanket of good clean earth

Dance into freedom,
Dance into joy,
Dance away all of the hurt

Never again in wood or in glen
Shall the cruel Black Thane be heard..
his lying tongue... silenced forever
by the red haired lass
with the dancing feet
and the shattered heart...
never to dance again..

She dwells there still in sunlight and shadow
beyond mere mortals ken
lass of the woods
witch of the earth
silenced forever..
deep in the haunted glen

cupping the ashes of her love...
she wanders bog and fen
seeking the heart
lost forever
that long dark night in the glen
