The Super Bowl is looking like that "'70s and '80s" show!

The Rams and Steelers are looking to rewind the clock!
I would have to be a idiot not to think the two favorite's in the NFL playoffs are going to lose this Sunday. Well, it would not be the first time for that.

Ah yes, let's take a trip back to the 1979-80 Season. The good old days.

The Rams were a 9-7 team that had really backed into the playoffs. The Steelers were simply the best as usual.

The Steelers were on their last Super Bowl run of the '70s. The Rams were going to their first Bowl.

The NFC was simply just not in the same league as the AFC. The AFC dominated that era.

To show how bad the NFC was that year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had made the playoffs. Two years earlier, the Bucs had not won a game.

The Steelers were expected to destroy the Rams. In all, it was a entertaining game, but the Vince Ferragamo led Rams just did not have the talent.

One of the Rams lineman, Fred Dryer, would go on to have a pretty good television show called "Hunter."

Hey, that was to give all you "Rams fans" a future trivia question!

How times have changed.

The Rams are now the best team in the league.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Rams will win the Super Bowl this year. The question is -- by how much?

The Steelers do have the No. 1 defense, but so did the Titans when they played the Rams a few years ago.

That would go down in history as one of the great Super Bowls. It came down to one last play.

Defensive Lineman Mike Jones would stop a Titan receiver just short of the goal line for the Rams to prevail for the victory.

That play would forever be in the minds of Titan fans.

Jones is now a member of the Steelers and maybe his magic will work against the Rams. Because the Steelers are not the 70's Steelers!
