Aaron Carter’s Family Woes

Just after Aaron Carter and his mother Jane reconciled, she was arrested on assault and battery charges.
Jane Carter was arrested last week for attacking her estranged husband Robert’s new girlfriend. She allegedly broke a window at her husband’s house in Marathon, Florida late Tuesday night, broke in and attacked his 29-year old gal pal. According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s office, Carter pulled Ginger Elrod from the bed by her hair and hit her with a remote control. When Elrod left the house she met with cops called to the scene who observed injuries on her head and right elbow. Carter was arrested on a misdemeanor count of battery. She was released early Wednesday morning.

All of these events occurred just days after she and son Aaron had allegedly resolved their personal and financial differences. It was announced last month that Aaron was firing his mother as his co-manager and demanded an audit of his earnings. He alleges that she took upwards of $100,000 from his account, and act his mother vehemently denies. Seems mother and son reached an understanding and Aaron decided not to file for legal emancipation from his mother.

In other Carter trouble, Entertainment manager Eliot Weisman has filed suit against Aaron’s father Robert Carter claiming he allegedly cut Weisman out of Aaron’s career. The $75,000 lawsuit is for libel and breach of contract, since Weisman claims he was let go after introducing Jane and Robert Carter to the William Morris Agency. Weisman claims he had a business deal with Jane to oversee young Aaron’s career, but Robert is disputing this agreement. Seems the only Carter not having trouble these days is big brother Nick of Backstreet Boys fame. Nick has been romancing popular party girl Paris Hilton and is set to star in the horror flick The Hollow.
