Your Truth

Just a poem about how everyone believes their own truths because the actual truth hurts too much....
Everything you know
Is never going to be the truth.
You speak the lies
Believing them
Growing with them.
Making it your truth.
You never notice your lies,
Because all you say are lies
That you believe as the truth.
People see your belief in them,
Thinking it must be real.
But nothing could be faker
Than these pitiful lies you make.
You said that wasn’t true,
But I beg to differ.
I believe the real truth,
Even though it hurts too much to know.
