Eternal Truth

Oscar Wilde once said, "The pure and simple truth is rarely pure and never simple." Truth is said to be bitter for all the times. But the results are likely to be sweet. We believe that truth is according to time. Any truth that is defined by man may change. But I tried to find out something that is around us forever. Eternal Truth is everlasting, timeless, never-ending and undeviating reality.

Defining Eternal Truth

Preferably I would say;

E – Egotism
T – Troubles
E – Education
R – Restlessness
N – Normality
A – Almighty
L – Love

Or

In other words;

Go far away, but you can’t hide away ego
Trouble is the Trouble till Identified
Learning from Everything, Everywhere and Everyone
Bind the Mind
Ordinariness is the root of extraordinariness
Take a step. God will take seven steps
Love is the Life

Egotism

"Wherever you go, you will always bear yourself about with you, and so you will always find yourself." – Thomas Kempis

In no century, you will find a man without egotism. This is the fact of human being. Running after material things, we find burning ourselves in fire of egotism instead of finding true success.

Trouble – Swallowing Sorrow

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain." – Revelation

Everything is to experience. We learn from our mistakes. If you really want to free from trouble, learn from it. You will not repeat the same process again that pains you. Once you learn swallowing sorrow inside, you will find happiness outside.

Education

"Who is wise? He who learns from all men" – Talmud

Since birth of human being, there has been one thing constant – learning. We have progressed now up to great invention of science and technology. We learned from one another, time, place and nature. Learning is the fact of every one’s life.

Restlessness – Finding Peace

‘O Krishna, the stillness of divine union which you describe is beyond my comprehension. How can the mind, which is so restless, attain lasting peace? Krishna, the mind is restless, turbulent, powerful, violent; trying to control it is like trying to tame the wind.’ – Arjuna (Bhagavad Gita)

Controlling mind is big job. The fact is we could not. Most of the time I found people talking about ‘I’ and ‘Me’. The Buddha says, "He insulted me, he cheated me, he beat me, he robbed me – those who are free of resentful thoughts surely find peace". Winning over five senses is search after true peaceful life.

Normal – Unity of Ordinariness

"I claim to be an average man of less than average ability. I have not the shadow of a doubt than any man or woman can achieve what I have, if he or she would make the same effort and cultivate the same home and faith." – Mahatma Gandhi

This man proved that everything lives in unity. Extraordinariness is just illusion. The common man only does extra ordinary things. Unity is symbol of great strength. It is just like finding our common features rather our distinct natures.

Almighty

God is the truth. He takes care of us in every situation is again fact.

"Whoever approaches Me walking, I will come to him running; and he who meets Me with sins equivalent to the whole world, I will greet him with forgiveness equal to it." –
Mishkatal- Masabaih

There is proverb in Hindu "When we take one step towards God, he takes seven steps toward us." Even Jesus urged the world to believe in God. "Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you."

Love

"Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude." – I Corinthians. True love is not to remember one bad thing forgetting ninety-nine good things done by the person.

Without love, our survival is impossible.

Everything that I defined under heading of an eternal truth has great impact on our lives in every century. We shall not deny this fact. We have seen the mysterious and supernatural impacts of these factors in our lives.

We find ourselves incapable in controlling our egos. However love is at upper edge of egotism. And yes we do. We love. In other words we have learned to balance these eternal truths. Call it supernatural power or follow any religion. We love to speak god. We complain him. We thank him. We forget him. But we believe in him. Living life is beyond expectation of meeting death point. We sometime control sense and sometime they do. Life is full of tunnels and turns. When we pass by darkness we expect light. We enjoy the senses. But senses let us feel the pain too. We learn. We learn about keeping miseries far from us. Although our great efforts we find ourselves restlessness in searching life without pain. We want to prove ourselves extraordinary. We try to distinguish ourselves from others. And at later stage we are alone. Extraordinariness is in mob. Unity. That’s right word. Everything is so inter related and thus complicated. That is everlasting.
