My Dream

When you are heartbroken, from a long distant relationship, close, or anything, it can always keep you up at night. It's how you deal with it that will let you finally rest and go to sleep.
The lust was in crave
And the love was in need,
But could I be that brave
To hold a heart, indeed?

I knew not the rule
Of us being far apart.
How love could be so cruel
And unjust to this heart.

That smile that was for me
And held all the means of life.
God, I wish I could just be
And rid my heart of this knife

As I lay here in thy bed,
And my eyes search the night,
I’m thinking of myself. Dead.
And of this thought I fright.

What would life be without
That love, oh so, deep?
With this small doubt
I finally rest and lay to sleep

My problems are fulfilled
As I rest to my dream.
Everything we did build
Is now just a tear-dried stream.
