Angelina Jolie Confirms Pregnancy

It was announced Wednesday morning that spokespersons for both Pitt and Jolie confirmed that they were expecting a little bundle of joy. It was reported that Jolie said, "Yes, I’m pregnant," to a Charity aid worker in the Dominican Republic. She is currently there filming The Good Shepherd with Matt Damon. The baby rumors have been surrounding the couple for the last few weeks. There were rumors that Jolie was sporting a "rounded belly" and was wearing loose fitting clothes. Baby Pitt is said to make his or her debut this summer.

There has never been any official word as to the status of Pitt and Jolie’s relationship. It has been rumored that the pair already tied the knot. If they haven’t already, they might want to consider doing it sooner rather than later since Pitt is currently in the process of trying to adopt Jolie’s two children, Maddox and Zahara. Last month, Pitt’s spokesperson Cindy Guagenti said in a statement, "We are confirming that Brad Pitt is in the process of becoming the adoptive father of both children. No further comment is being made."

It has also been reported that the pillow lipped actress has "officially petitioned" for Pitt to become the legal father to her children by taking out four small ads in a Los Angeles newspaper. The classified ads were placed during the month of December and are called ‘Order to Show Cause for Change of Name." The ads are part of her petition to the court to legally change the children’s last names to Jolie-Pitt. No offense, but with the increasingly rapid divorce rate in Hollywood, why would Pitt even bother to legally adopt the children?
