NHL: Just Pick A Team, Mr. Lindros

Eric Lindros does not show to meet with the Islanders. What's the deal?
What's going on with Eric Lindros?

Eric Lindros has the okay to return to action by his Chicago-based neuroligist Dr. James Kelly, after being knocked out of the Stanley Cup playoffs with another concussion. I remember the big hit by New Jersey's captain Scott Stevens. Did you know that Eric has had six concussions in the last 27 months?

We can put him in class with Steve Young, Brett Favre, and Troy Aikman. Eric's lawyer, Gord Kirke told the Canadian Press, "he's (Eric Lindros)ready to practice full- out - if he has a team. But he's ready to go."

Hey, Bobby Clarke, (Philadelphia Flyers General Manager) do Lindros a favor! You know he will sit out and will not care when he is fined by you. Eric turned down your $8.5 million qualifying offer, he really will not trust the Flyers medical treatment anymore.

Eric went out and had lots of second opinions from specialists in concussions. He feels he was misdiagnosed with the flyers. Eric's been training with the York University hockey team and living where he is from, TORONTO. But I bet you would want two good players and a first round pick, and Toronto might not give you all that.

So, Clarke will probably trade Eric to a team in the Western Conference. Can you see Lindros in a Dallas Stars uniform:? I can. I can also see him in with the San Jose Sharks. The Sharks have lot's of young great talent, and both in the west.

Bobby Clarke would be smart NOT to move Eric to another team in the Eastern Conference.
