Side by Side

Knowing there's an unfillable space...
You know that when we walk side by side,
We don't walk soul by soul,
There's a distance from here to the moon between us,
Although your hand is in mine,
Everybody sees us next to each other,
An illusion; we're miles apart,
We can't replace that space with love,
It'll exist until we know,
That there's nothing left to discover out there,
That we've really found 'the one'...
