Anon Just to discuss Cindy O's point. Charming alive individuals are very different to flirts, there is a clear difference. People would describe me as charming but I have never deliberated or unconsciiusly flirted with anyone for attention, that is taken, or while in a relatiohship it is very damaging. 10/26/2008
Anon Yes this is so true I wish there was more education about this. my partner flirted early in the relationship and 3 years on there is still damage there because there was no solid foundation built. It is really diffficult to get past. It has exactly the same effect as cheating, but because it is glamourised by the media it seems minimised in peoples minds. 10/26/2008
Cindy O This article seems to promote hatred & fear towards flirting which is a natural trait embedded in humans. It's what brings two people together to begin with and it brings joy to the lonely and discouraged. Flirts can be angels. Flirting is highly different from sexual promiscuity. One can be severely unfaithful without flirtation and we can observe that in prostitution. A charming, flirtatious human should not be condemned but the person who lacks self-control when he/she actually decides to cross those physical/sexual limits. 6/1/2008
