john1r Jim, you should get at least a year or 2, maybe more. I don't think the brand of silicone is that important as long as it is 100% silicone, and not siliconized caulk. 6/3/2007
john1r Johnny, the sealant that holds the glass to the spacer has to be continuous. If there is the slightest pinhole, you will get condensation. 6/3/2007
JOHNNY TOWERS IS THERE ANYTHING SPECIAL THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE BEFORE INSTALLING THE SECOND (DUAL WINDOW PANE) TO CONTROL CONDENSATION (MOISTURE) AFTER INSTALLATION? 5/1/2007
Jim Koepfle If I do a dual pane window repair myself and I get a good silicone seal how long roughly do you think it will stay sealed with no fogging or condensation?
What brand of silicone sealant would you recommend?
