| B.Ckakraburtty | my 78 year old mother was diagnosed with lung and possibly uterine cancer a few months sgo,but because she has alzheimers as well,the Drs. do not want to do any test on her to determine what stage mom is at with the cancer.Her appetite is still pretty good even though she does not seem to gain any weight and has actually dropped quite a bit of weight ,about 10,12 lbs since last year.Evert now and then there is a small quick cough,but not strong or continuious. my question is is there any way to know what stage my mom may be at without the biopsy?we do not live in the same city and I dont speak with her Dr. on a regular basis.
