marcia I agree with several other people that have commented. What good is a picture of a dog, when you want to identify the worm. 8/31/2007
Tim I was looking for pictures of worms 8/31/2007
Amy Little White worms that look like rice are called tape worms. They can only get these worms by ingesting a flea, so go to your vet and get a Dewormer and Flea Prevention. They can make your pet vomit and not want to eat. Also can make a pups stomach swollen.Long worms that look like spaghetti are called round worms. I work at a vets office. 8/30/2007
Annie My puppy is 5 months old and is coughing alot is eating fine and is very active. I remember my spaniel was coughing alot and then I noticed a half inch white thing come out of his nose. He was a puppy and was supposed to be dewormed. Could this be the problem of this puppy.? 8/16/2007

Vonda In our section on whip worms you all stated how not to reinfest our dogs:

Along with administering heartworm medication regularly, here are other ways to prevent reinfection:
* Clean yard with a safe cleaning agent (which kills worms)

What are the cleaning agents you are referring to for my yard? I can't seem to find any available.
Thanks,
Yorkielover

D. Johnson I found this article extremely helpful. As a new pet owner, I was not aware of the details of the different types of worms. After reading this article, I know that my puppy needs medical attention, not an at home remedy.
