helen Hi,
I am new to this site. I have two little dogs (dachshund, and a dachshund mix) both bark constantly. I have tried shock collars, but that didn't really teach them anything, training, that didn't work. I don't know what else to do, except isolate them during the day. (I run a daycare) I don't really want to do that, because I feel like I would be neglecting them. (it's a 12 hour day) I have heard that one can get "sedatives" for behavior problems. But I don't know if that is a good idea either...any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Other than the barking CONSTANTLY, they are pretty good dogs (well, with the exception of the housebreaking rule)

jojo2006 Does the shirt thing work, because I can't leave my dog alone at all.It drives me mad cause there are places that I can't bring her so I have to find a dogsitter, and that can be hard to find sometimes. So my question is does it really work? 9/15/2006
R Orison It's "heel" not "heal". I can't take the rest of the article seriously... 7/28/2006
