Dianne W Thank you for this article. I realize it was written a few years ago, but the subject is increasingly relative to today's world. I have a friend with whom I have been very close. However, we are communicating less and less. I am the one who initiates the calls, getting together. The last time I mentioned getting together, she rattled off a list of all the things she has to do. Basically the message I got was "I'm to busy for you." At least after reading this article, I realize I am not overreacting. My conclusion: If you are too busy for your friends, then you are too busy. Period. 9/23/2009
