Bud Selig and Pete Rose both defied baseball's rules; however, if Selig remains in office, I believe that Rose should be reinstated.

Ryan Hawk Pete Rose banned for gambling which is not a crime in a lot of states while other players have used drugs and steroids extensively which are illegal in all 50 states and they get only a few games off. This is utterly ridiculous. You can break the law in baseball for 4 times and then you get another or you are banned but if you gamble then you are gone for life. I don't really understand the logic there. 4/23/2005
