Lynne I liked everything that was said here, but you can't shave against the hair and expect to get good results, you'll end up with razor burn so bad you'll want to cry and then in the end the hair will ingrow and cause pus filled bumps that take months to finally go away. Shave WITH the hair that way you can't shave to deep and cause your self alot more pain than you need to. 7/8/2008
DJ Incorrect. You should not shave against the grain. That will cause a higher risk of ingrown hairs and irritation. You actually say not to shave to close, well that's too close. 4/13/2008
patrice yo...guys shave to...I know that it is nice for a guy to see his girl shave but like I dont think that girls would want pubs in there mouth whenthere blowing us. 3/19/2008
Michelle Awesome guide. Wish I'd read it earlier. :-P Lol. 3/6/2008
Mat Nice. A complete official guide that is TOTALLY an advertisement for the product. Interesting marketing, but if the product is so good, why do you buy the only space you receive in every magazine you listed? Ladies and Gentlemen, don't trust this information. Go to another web site that is universally trusted, like webmd.

I don't work for any company related to that website. I'm self-employed in the mid-west working on computers(physically), and don't do any website development beyond my own sites. All I'm saying is find a good resource for anything that has to do with your body, health, and safety.

Nunya NEVER shave against the growth first. That will cause bumps. Shave with the growth first, then you can shave against it for a closer feel afterwards, if it doesn't cause irritation. This applies to any part of the male or female body. 10/11/2007
Serena Carson Actually, I find it works very well just the same if you DON'T use foam or gel products and just keep it dry. BUT you have to use an electric razor or else it WILL cause irritating bumps. All the other tips still apply though. 7/18/2007
kyomi_rose To be honest i have been shaving in the shower using standard Body soap and a disposable razor for 7 years now and i have never had any irritation or cuts, also using a standard Bodycream after has reduced any redness... 9/6/2006
