Addwaita, a 255-year-old Aldabra giant tortoise brought to India in the 18th century, has died in a Calcutta Zoo.

Shailendra S It pains to know that Addwaita is no more with us. He will be badly missed. He was probably the most precious thing on this planet.
Great care should be taken to preserve Harriet, and all endangered species in the world as well as, all poor street animals (slave bears, monkeys, cattle, birds and above all Elephants who are severely abused for commercial gains across the length and breadth of the Country that we know as India.
