Satellite TV Reception

Bad weather doesn’t do much to Satellite antenna reception, or your Dish Network service. But sometimes your antenna can lose reception completely and generally there are some obvious reasons for it that you can solve your self very quickly.

Jim Falk What solutions are there, if any, to reception dificulties during heavy rain or snow? I've heard everything from garbage bag over the dish to spraying cooking oil on the dish surface. Thank you for any advice or help you can provide. Regards 10/20/2007
Ralph J. All Satellite Dish networks need to get all their cards on the table and tell it the way it really is.
It takes right at $65.00 per month to get a decent package to be able to watch something thats worth watching, then it's all re-runs for 30-60 more days before something "All New" comes around.
I like my antenna, It's paid for.
