Why we grow old is a mystery, a mystery that scientists may be on the verge of cracking open. Can real treatments for aging be far behind?

William Smith God (who's god), religion fills in parts of the past we simply do not have knowledge of. If we let religion cloud our judgment then we will never truly better our self. Now that we are progressing as a society we should be looking to better our self's as a race of beings with the ability to do so, and stop being so scared of the possibilities. 2/25/2008
Liza I think that we have to be happy growing old, that's why old people get so much head aches, because they are scared that they are getting closer and closer to death. When people do not know that, they enjoy their life, living every single second of it. That's why young adults are always too happy. I think people have to enjoy themselves no matter how old they are. When you watch a child in play you think about what is the child thinking?what is going through the child's head at that moment?
Some people remember of when they were young, and suddenly they become much happier
Tears of joy come out, as they remember their years as a child. Children these days are so spoiled and they're not even happy most of the time, and when those children grow old they think of the times when they were little they suddenly become sad, knowing that they didn't enjoy their life. Every person is beautiful and unique in their own ways, we should not stop the aging process. If we do there will be no new children. When an old person dies a new person is born and so on and so on. If we stop the aging process, an old person doesn't die and a new person isn't born, logically speaking.

Jamaluddin Aging has it's wisdom. It creats a great balance to the meaning of life. We should not unstabelize that balance, and instead, we should think of how our world would be if we did interact with our nature. 11/27/2007
Royane Yes - this is something I have thought of as well. Except that in my own mind my thinking goes like this - you know how scientists say the universe is expanding now - and it has been for many millions of years - maybe the universe is just breathing, and when it starts to go the other way, everything will reverse exactly. 4/27/2007
Infinity Well I think it should work in the reverse, born at 100 and work our way down.....to the beginning, and face our demise then.....imagine...growing younger everyday...what a dream....
