Lyn Burnes A very simple solution to rid your home of fruit flies is to take a small dish and combine half a teaspoon of honey with one ounce of water then put one or two drops of dish soap in and stir. The flies will take one drink and slip in to the mix and die within seconds. It may be helpful to change out the mixture every day or two until they are gone. 8/20/2008
