So rapture as a word or concept is not used in the bible, but you think you can add to the bible?
I hate revisionists.
I like people who claim to have made Amiga & C64 software a decade before each respective system was out though.
It even asks that the comment space be not be used for commercial activity... oh the irony. |

WHY WOULD HE RAPTURE US BEFORE THE TRIBULATION? WE WILL HAVE TO GO THRU IT BECUS HE IS GOING TO PROTECT US WHEN ITCOMES UPON THE NATIONS WHO ARE NOT BELIVERS . READ PSALM 91 I SURE DONT WANT TO GET RAPTURE TO BE THROWN INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.A QUESTION OF TIMING--BOTH THE PASSAGE AND PASSAGEGIVE THE TIMING OF THE TAKING AWAY. IT,S AFTER THE "TRIBULATION OF THOSE DAYS" . SO EVEN IF IT DID REFER TO THE RAPTURE(WHIICH IT OBIVIOUSLY DOESN'T) IT WOULDN'T OCCUR UNTIL AFTER THE TRIBULATION, NOT BEFORE. BOTH OF THOSE PASSAGES CLEARLY DESCRIBE AN EVENT AFTER THE TRIBULATION.. ABBA FATHER BLESS YOU AND FILL YOU WITH WISDOM AND UNDERSTADING. SOMEONE WHO CARES IN YHWH 'S TRUE WORD AND UNDERSTADING. REMEMBER TO KEEP THE SABBATH DAY HOLY.ONE OF THE COMMANMENTS WE DON'T KEEP IN THE CHURCHS TODAY. |

Since the rapture is never metioned in the scriptures, isn't that adding to the bible? The bible speaks of only two (2) comings of Christ. So how many times are you telling us that He is coming? |

I excepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior back in 1976 have sinned many times since then, but I have never lost my faith and love for Jesus, I must say I am a post-trib believer, the message you present is very interesting though, if I stay a post-trib and we are raptured before the 7 years would I remain? |

It is clear that is we take I Thessalonians 4:17 we then can make that single verse out to be anything we want, but is we read the entire chapter, including verse 4:17 and find out what the top is the chapter is then we find out a different meaning. I challange you to do this. |

I believe that the rapture was just made up by man. Everyone has to die in order to be cleansed by God before we can enter the kingdom of God. NO ONE can enter the kingdom of God without first being cleansed of all sins THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PERFECT HUMAN BEING. CHRIST IS THE ONLY ONE. |

If you're reading the NIV, you're missing a lot more than the rapture. You probably think no one will know the day and hour, you probably don't know the church judges the worlc, you probably don't know that the first horseman is the other lion's whelp, you probably don't know that Jesus said He is LORD God. Check it out: selah-tx.net and listen as you read.. |

Yes, I cannot wait for the big magic sky fairy to pull me away from the horror on the planet, and look down on the sinners and feel satisfied that the eternity of suffering they are left to by the meak and mild Jesus, will punish them foever for not thinking like me. |

If Noah and his family was in the rapture, why weren't they in heaven? Why would the people on earth be in so much trouble if the good are raptured away?Who would be here for the devil to torment if the only thong left is the bad? |

Well, it seems difficult enough to believe many of those things which ARE included in the Bible, without being asked to also believe those (such as Rapture) which are not. |

why would God command that the chosen bare a mark to be protected if they were going to be lifted away to heaven during the tribulation period?Rev.3:10 says "I will keep you from the hour" not "I will remove you from the earth". This is not "PROOF OF A PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE", It is proof of the protection of God given to the righteous. "Do not harm the land, the sea or the trees until until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of God" Rev 7:3 This is the mark of the protection of God, why would they need to bare a mark of protection if they were not in jeopardy to the "woes" of the tribulation? Why would God have commanded that the locusts harm only those who did not bare the seal of God on their foreheads if the chosen ones with this mark were already gone?? Through out the Bible, old and new, the recurring theme is that the evil will be removed from the Earth not the righteous. You see this with Noah and the flood as well as the Sodomites. Noah was not raptured away to the ark and removed from the earth, he built the ark and the flood took place ON EARTH. he was not floating around in a Heaven in a giant boat waiting for the water to recede. The evil were removed from the earth not the good. Thes. 4:16-17 does not say that we will all be caught up together BEFORE TRIBULATION . rev 22;18 "I warn everyone who hears the prophecy of this book:if anyone adds anything to them, God will ad to him the plagues described in this book" The "philosophy" of the rapture did not even come to being as a popular theory until the early 1800s so what was the plan for Christian salvation for the 17 centuries before this? |

1. Why do you think that John 14 refers to those Christians "raptured" as opposed to refering to all believers in eternity? 2. Why do you think that Rev. 3:10 means Christians will be removed from the earth prior to the trouble? Cannot God protect us while we are still on the earth, or even have a sheltered place prepared for us--what I mean is, aren't there many ways he could "keep us from that hour of trial" even by means of a remote cave dwelling or even a space station, if you insist that the earth itself will be destroyed or something that gargantuan? I don't see it that the ONLY way he could save us is by the rapture, but I do think that by saying this is THE ONLY WAY he could save us, you are limiting God. --CJ |
