Leo Mr. Phelan has no idea what he's talking about. All one has to do is read the Federal REserve's own publications and they will clearly spell out how and what banks do when "lending" money or issueing credit cards. Mr. Phelan appears to be a disinformation agent for the credit card industry. Many people go to legitimate arbitration forums, and win their cases because the banks won't show up and answer the pertinant questions. Hundreds of defaults are handed down every year. 12/16/2007
calvin W. I think everyone who reads this article should read up on Congressman McFadden's Speech given in Congress in 1934, and how he wanted charges brought up against the FED. (Federal Reserve Corporation). He also regarded everyone involved with this scandlous system and it's inception as TRAITORS to these United States and it's citizen's.
Let's see your reaction to this truth.

cteichmann I would think that it would be in the best interest of the public that they be informed on how the banks make mega profits by having the usury laws changed to their benefit in order to make big profits. Do not make the banks and our government look as if they stand for true justice and due process of law. They make their own rules and break them as they see fit. They intice people into this system of immoral usury for their own selfish purposes and profits. I think it would be extremely beneficial if you make the banks and our government accountable for their immoral and corrupt practices as well. But, I know you will not, for you stand on their side.
I must say you do not reveal the whole truth in your "little" article.
