Wal-Mart Fires Manager for Calling the Law on a Black Businessman

A Florida Wal-Mart manager was fired for calling sheriff’s deputies to intervene when a black businessman tried to write a check to pay for thousands of dollars, even though it was a legitimate check and the customer was doing nothing wrong.

sally i think the Wal-Mart employees should be more respectful to the shoppers some of the employees can be let's so disrespectful to the shoppers and this accident just made it worse i mean the Manager should have told him whats going on. not have the businessman waiting for two hours and calling the cops on him and all they do is fire the manager. im glad that the businessman is considering sueing 10/18/2006
lb wal-mart is used to being sued.I think Mr.Pitts should sue them wal-mart knows it was racial profiling reguardless of how they want to cover it up.And Mr.Pitts knows it was to.No matter how you slice and dice it, it always comes down to black and white 2/24/2006
