Dumpy I have thousands of feet of VHS (PAL) and want to transfer this to DVD. I have a Panosonic DVD Recorder but I am considering buying a Panosonic VHS/DFVD machine.
Has anyone experience of this machinf]e, please?

Dylan JW, what are you talkin about it takes 3 months to copy something to a disc? that is the craziest thing i have ever heard sounds to me that your using one of the first computers ever made. keep up on the future or your gana be slow like your computer 2/20/2008
Dylan i have a vhs to dvd recorder but it wont let me copy my vhs tapes due to copyright laws. if i would of known that i would of never got it. allthough there has to be a way around it can you help me please. 2/20/2008
JW Who cares if DVD's have better sounds. Dosen't VHS have the same sound. People have to be patient when the tape rewinds to the begging. You can record shows on VHS. I think it takes almost three or more months to copy something on a DVD. Which is easier recording things on video in a second or as much as you want or copy something on a DVD that takes almost three months to finish. (SIGH) I hate this future stuff. 6/26/2007

Cyn I have a huge collection of VHS disney films and we want to convert them to dvd, next to going out and buying the new version on DVD (even though they're only released once every 7 years or so) we thought we'd buy a DVD recorder, unfortunatley we get a "Protected Content" notice and so we're unable to copy to the dvd, Is there anything we can do. I have a JVC vcr/dvd recorder. Can you help?
