Jane I have been tricked twice by SPYBOT SEARCH & DESTROY. first they DOWNLOADED AND PUT THEMSELVES ON MY COMPUTER but charged to work.

Next, I went to another site and downloaded the same program but it said FREE spyware removal. TOTALLY FALSE. This company is totally untrustworthy. I asked them to remove themselves and they told me to download more software to remove them.		 11/6/2007

JJB The article is fine as far as it goes. The main point is repeated several times and is "only download from sites of good reputation" . Of course this advice is totally useless without a method for identifying a reputable sites, and no identification process is given!
