David S I just wonder if their is a total free site out there . I'm on a fix income and don't have the money know or anytime soon, as it take everything just to live at this time just like the one's that work and make alot more money then I do. thr way thing are going it getting harder for use all. this is about 5 years old and I do need this on this but have really never found anything free. Jane I have been tricked twice by SPYBOT SEARCH & DESTROY. first they DOWNLOADED AND PUT THEMSELVES ON MY COMPUTER but charged to work.

Next, I went to another site and downloaded the same program but it said FREE spyware removal. TOTALLY FALSE. This company is totally untrustworthy. I asked them to remove themselves and they told me to download more software to remove them.		 11/6/2007

JJB The article is fine as far as it goes. The main point is repeated several times and is "only download from sites of good reputation" . Of course this advice is totally useless without a method for identifying a reputable sites, and no identification process is given!
