| Hopper | What is there to fear from teaching Intelligent Design in the science class along with evolution? The fear is in giving credence to something that is, quite simply, not science … but rather theology disguised as science. Sadly, it is disguised as science for less than honest motives. For unless I.D. is accepted as fact, fundamentalist Christianity will never been seen as valid by those outside fundamentalist churches. Of course, those who don't accept I.D. as fact are dismissed by the I.D. community as being influenced by less than Godly forces. And ... when one way -- the fundamentalist Christian way -- is presumed to be the one and only true way … it can never have respect for others. So just be honest ... it's NOT science ... it's fundamentalist theology trying desperately to play a trump card. |

| Ian | This question is really getting old. Creationism has been decided to violate the seperation of church and state and ID is nothing more then Creationist dogma disguised as science. It is not a scientific theory because there is no supporting evidence, while evolution has supporting evidence when you can show me that there is sufficent evidence beyond people perverting statistics to find it I might think it needs to be taught as science but until then I really wish you people would stick to keeping it in churches or even rallying to have philosphy course in school where it can be taught. In the end science course should teach science and not fantasy and as of this huge dedate in science over the validity of evolution there isnt one. | 8/29/2007 |

| christin | I said intellegent design because look at the questions I put before you: how come if the crocidile were here way back when and the evolution THEORY says that everything evolved from something than how come there are still crocidiles???? |
