leedoffman Are you serious? You don't have to be a genious to figure this out Mitchel! People are looking into ways to get out of PDL's, not what you should or shouldn't do! Most people take out PDL's, because they have bad credit so taking out another loan to consolidate the PDL's is really not an option, don't you think? Also, why would you recommend someone who's trapped in PDL's to start saving?! Come on now! If one has the capacity to save, why would anyone go to get PDL? 9/29/2009

MAR Den, Colo Although pay day loans do help families like mine , they also can become devastating to your income, I have 6000.00 in loans out at this time. Susan Parker This is good advice, unless people are truly buried in payday loans. They can't qualify for a "larger loan with a lower interest rate..." My son-in-law had 17 payday loans. Here's what we did:

GB No one tells you what to do when you are already in the cycle and can think of no way out. This debt becomes the most important debt that you have. Can you ask the store to take payments to pay off the debt? What can you do? 4/17/2007
