lynn Edward, you are just the typical type of "bone" headed man, that us women stay eternally frustrated with. I too act many times as if my sexual desire is abundant, when in reality- just typically a way for me/women to avoid "the sex arguement" with our man and keep him happy. This article is right on! oh,and, if you took boys and girls to an island and did as you propose, I guarantee the boys with continue to have their "wet dreams" and think about sex just as they do in reality, and no, us women will still not express sexual desire anymore than we do now- can't express in abundance what nature/hormones did not give. 12/29/2006

Edward O'Rourke Sheesh. What a load of gobbledy gook. I am a man, and I am highly driven by emotions within relationships. I cannot, in fact, even feel sexual with someone if I don't feel for them, at least in some way, emotionally. Moreover, I know a lot of women driven by sexual desires. I think most of what we say, think and do, when it comes to sex, is due to the environment in which we were brought up. I think if you took boys and girls out to an island, and told the boys from an early age that they were supposed to suppress sexual desire, and women / girls to express theirs, that's what would happen. 9/14/2006
