I THINK IT SHOULD BE ALLOWED FOR UNDERAGE PEOPLE TO GET MARRIED EVEN WITHOUT PARENTAL APPROVAL BECAUSE SOME UNDERAGE PEOPLE CAN BE IN LOVE. IF IT IS OK FOR PEOPLE 18 AND OVER TO GET MARRIED THEN IT SHOULD BE OK. I THINK THEY SHOULD ATLEAST CHANGE THE LAW SO PEOPLE 15 AND OVER TO GET MARRIED! |

i think its rediculous that she married a 14 year old child. i myself am 17 and i am going to GA to marry my 20 year old fiance, who'd i'd be marrying legally anyways even if i hadn't been having a child. there should be a strict age gap, to prevent such manuevers like child molestation. its just sick. the child should be required to be at least 16, whether bride or groom. and there should be at least a 5year gap if the male or female is older or younger than 16. |

I think this woman took advantage of this boy. There is NO WAY this woman had no clue how old he was! Come on he was her sons friend! I think that if this was a man who took advantage of a young teen girl we would be more outraged. What about preventing the pregnancy? I just think the whole thing is wrong. |

I think she will find lots of love and attention in prison. Statutory rape Laws are just that. A crime is a crime. Even if he was 17 he is still a minor. Women don't seem to understand that every 15 and 16 year old boy believes very strongly that they are in love of course until they "grow up" and figure out its mainly hormones. Society is losing Moral ground every day. Every thing is acceptible; this women just sat on national TV and said that she would allow a older man to have sex with her young boys? I don't buy the Romeo and Juliet spin this pedophile intends to place on it. Alot of stalkers, rapist, and "child molesters" were truly in love with the object of their affection.Why lock any of them up if they truly thought they were in love. From personal experience I find it true that you CAN NOT help who you fall in love with. I dated a guy for over a year and he was absolutely loving, caring, & respectful and I fell head over heels in love. After our 1 year anniversary I got a phone call that I never expected from someone I didn’t even know existed - HIS WIFE! I left him but my heart ached. I was so depressed. I missed him and loved him but I knew I couldn’t see him even though he wanted to. If this boy told her she was 17 and no one told her otherwise (the grandmother claims she did mention his age but I think she's a very vindictive liar who didn’t keep track of her grandson and now wants to blame someone else for her screw ups) and she fell in love to only find out he's 15 is that really her fault? Haven’t we all dated someone who presented themselves one way and later on in the relationship we find out otherwise? I hope all works out for them and they are happy together and enjoy raising their new baby boy. |

I think they could do what ever they want. you would not want noone in your business if you was in that position how man people are together with young girls and young guys what is the diffrence?the media need to stay out that lady business and go find better stories to tell like we found a dead girl or we are srearching for the missing lady.. that would do just fine other than trying to ruin someone's life. thats all the media and the govenment good for. how come the lady who ran over that little girl on school zone is free but they harasing lisa clark for sleeping with a teenage who knew dawm well what he was doing.is truely a shame... |

Hello everyone,
Actully I' ve never heard of this women and her situation until today while watching the Tyra Banks show.So first of all you can' t help who you fall in love with so why try.I can tell from watching the show today that this women was sincere with practicley everything she said.So why should laws tell them the way to live there lives.There in love and it's very hard to find true love and it's quite clear these two have so really it's noones concern but theres. Everyone dreams of finding true love and if you finally did how would you feal if you were told you could never see them again well obvisley it would be heart breaking.So this poor women might end up going to jail and for what falling in love and being happy.How stupid is that right like think about it.So I fully agree with this women If this guy feels the same way for her which he quite clearly does and she loves him alot to which she does, they should be together.They should live happily together and noone should judge them cause you wouldn't want to be judged if you were in the same situation.Like the famous saying,"never judge a book by it's cover " so don't judge them until you meet and know them very well.As for her children if they can agree with the situation which her two sons did I never heard a viewpoint from her daughter but I'm sure she agrees as well, so everyone is happy.If they can all live happily together no one should have the right to make them do any different.This women should NOT be put into jail she never did anything she fell in love which everyone does.Whoever don't agree ....................Just think if your married or have a girlfriend/boyfriend it just happened you thought they were older then they were if you later found out they were 14 or 15 would you get a divorce or break-up.You may convince yourself that you would break-up but in your heart you wouldn't give up your true love because of a stupid age difference.Who cares are these people affecting you didn't think so so who cares I just hope everyone else can be as happy as these two and find true love ............
So I hope this women Lisa don't go to jail and can be happy with her new husband her children and her new child on the way which I hope turns out to be as decent as her parents and very healthy. |

This is so complicated. What was this 15 year olds prior history? Had he already been molested at an earlier age? Was she? Where is the real help??? We need to find and implement the most current and effective way to deal with this in our society. As for her children, are they better off in foster care? Enforced treatment would be punishment and cure. Regular prison or "leave them alone" solves nothing if you consider all the kids involved. |

So the State of Georgia is going to waste the taxpayer's money to prosecute this woman and then if she is found guilty the taxpayers will again foot the bill for her imprisonment...lets say 100K + for the trail and 35K for each year she's incarcerated...who loses?
The GA taxpayer of course!
A better less costly punishment would be let them live out their marriage...can you imagine the problems with the drastic age difference.
