My name is Michele Hunter and I am 30 years old, I loved boxing as a child, but never had a chance to carryout my dream as a pro. I think more females should be engouraged to box from a young age, so that they can make a difference in the world. I would love the opportunity to participate in the 2012 olympics, I've started traing now. |

i'm a 19 year old boxer in Australia, had my first fight at 13 and fell in love with the sport as soon as i stepped in the ring. I live dream eat and breath boxing! Everyday i imagine what it would feel like if my one and only dream to compete at the olympic games 2012 came true.as a little girl i always wanted to be an olympian for somthing so i did alot of different sports before i started boxing and it was the only one i truly loved doing! when i found out that it wasn't alowed in the olympics i thought it was a cruel joke my trainer was playing on me.My goal was shatterd, so i'm now so gratefull that you are considering my and a thousand other girls dreams. thankyou! |

I am 20 years old and it would mean A LOT to me if I had the opportunity to compete in the 2012 Olympic Games in London, AND WIN. So I pray that you let women compete in the Armature Boxing Games in London for the Olympic Games. Thank You. |

I am 14 and i love boxing it would be a dream for me to go to the 2012 olympics. I think that women should have exactly the same opputunities as men. Even though some women may not like the sport of boxing i'm sure that they will want women to be given the same oppuntunities in life as men. |

I'm so excited!! I'm 16yrs old and started boxing when I was 9yrs old. I'm the 2007 JO Champ, 2006 and 2007 Desert Showdown Champ, and am the US National Champ. This long journey hasn't been easy but now that the olympics have been aproved it'll get easier for us the girls, we won't have to struggle looking for fighters to fight. And approving the 2012 female boxing olympics is the best thing that could ever happen in the sport! I'm sure U.S.A boxing won't regret it!!! |

I love this idea. I'm 16 years old and started boxing when I was 14. I love it. It's my passion. I read it in my local newspaper the other day, & tears came to my eyes!! We finally have Womans boxing as an olympic sport. :) |

I think women boxing should be included to 2012 olympic. There are a lot of young women boxers in Europe and the whole world. I am 17 years ols and I really fish to take part in the 2012 olympics.

Yes! Most definately it should be included! Im sure there ARE women out there who CAN beat men. . . not all men . . but it's one good possibility. I am a 16 year old Female fighter myself and the chance to fight in the olympics would be a dream come true! Disallowing women's boxing....wouldn't that be Sexism? or is that law an exception for the benefit of Boxing's manly reputation. This issue is just as bad as Kickboxing not being a sport and chess is . . What a liberty! Come on Women fight for your rights! |

I think women boxing is a real sport, wich has to be included in the 2012 olympic. I am a young boxer, and i think it is not true to discriminate women boxing. I think it has a great future, and it gets more and more popular in my country and in the whole world. It would be a new and great discovery in sports.
Thank you for reading my opinion.

i think womens boxing should be allowed in 2012 as that is one of my goals in life to box in the olympics along side amanda and the rest of the great female boxers from britain.... if its so bad to watch women box why should the male side be allowed to box in the olympics .. women who want to box should have a chance to prove them selves its there choice if they wont to get in the ring, get black eyes n broken noses realy if a female boxer wants it that bad it should be allowed. well thats my opinion : ) |
