Dave The bible is a work of fiction. You will not change from reading it just like you won't change after reading Moby Dick or watching Scarface or any other form of media. The bible is a horrible read if you have any sense of logic; in fact, it's outright insulting to the intelligence. The stories are bad. I’d wager most theists buy this crap and don’t even read it. It’s sitting in a drawer somewhere or on a shelf so friends might take notice and say, "What a good Christian you are!" Seriously though, it's nothing more than superstitious rambeling. Do you remember what it was like before you were born? Yeah, neither do I, and that’s exactly what it’s going to be like when you’re dead. Don’t buy this crap, it’s not necessary, I just filled you in on what the afterlife will be like. 9/29/2007
vanessa j. "Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see." 5/9/2007
"God" The bible was probably just a science-fiction story some old-age writer wrote just for the fun of it. He used some real people to portrait as characters in the book, such as Jesus.

The book title was probably not even close to "The Holy Bible", more like "The Man in the Sky" featuring the so called "God" as the main plot-character.

In my opinion, religion is absolutly the worst thing man ever 'created'. And faith really has nothing to do with religion. Everyone have faith, just that people show it in different ways. Religion has no advantages what so ever. Since man started to think beyond the thoughtpattern of a fish, assets and religion has been the sole causes for war between two or more factions.

Please, make the world a better place to live in. Don't set unrealistic standards for our future generations by implementing religion into every human life. Ban religion and I promise you the destructive path we are currently on will make a sharp turn for the better.
