well my friend named her baby girl after the New England stadiums. Fenway park and Gillette Stadium....Kayla Fenway Gillette Michelle ! I thought she was kiding . I guess the drugs they give you at the hosp are too strong! lol |

People are tired being called Jimmy and Mary and Jo and Amy. We have reached t oa point where everything has become so prefabricated. When we go out for a date 99% we go out for a...what else ? dinner, sooo predictable and so vanilla. We talk ? we say the same trivialities when, you go to a wedding or Bar Mitzvah/t or birthday someone takes out a paper to express through his notes how s/he loves and appreciates the honored person/s. Life has become like Greek diners in NY. All have the same menu, same booths, same style of service. Just the name of the diner is different the location and the design of the place. Even the diner owners 90%
are John, George, Steve, Peter or Gus...like there are no other names. Artists, actors, spiritual people try to make a difference to feel free from this homogenization. Picking a different name for themsevles and their children is liberating, is a way to express a defiance to the system it shows spirit and individuality. Some of course go to the extreme to give to their children names that are too unusual.So what ? Let the herds out there to learn how to spell unusual names. Our society needs to understand that we have entered in the Age of diversity. Learning diversity we will learn acceptance.... |

personally i LOVE the name Brooklyn (yes i do know it's a boy!) i also think that Maddox is really cute also! but the other names i must say are CRAZY!!! Pilot Inspector, Audio Science, Hopper Jack, Kyd (why would you name your kid Kyd?) and Tu Morrow should be on the list. |
